Immersive museum installation combining holographic projections, interactive iPad interface, and Pepper's Ghost technology to bring dinosaurs to life.
Created an immersive experience for the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences in Brussels, designed to captivate children and families. The installation combines cutting-edge Pepper's Ghost hologram technology with an interactive iPad interface that allows visitors to learn about and interact with lifelike dinosaur projections.
Museums face the challenge of engaging young audiences with educational content in an increasingly digital world. The goal was to create an unforgettable experience that combines awe-inspiring visuals with educational interaction, encouraging children to explore paleontology in an intuitive and playful way.
We built a multi-layered experience featuring Pepper's Ghost hologram technology for realistic 3D dinosaur projections, intuitive iPad interface for selecting and learning about different dinosaurs, interactive animations responding to user input in real-time, educational content about dinosaur species behavior and evolution, gamified elements encouraging exploration and discovery, and responsive design adapting to various screen and projection sizes.
The iPad interface was designed with touch-first interactions optimized for children. The UI focuses on visual recognition and intuitive navigation, with large touch targets and clear feedback. We synchronized the iPad controls with the holographic projections, creating a seamless experience where user actions directly influence what appears on screen.
